1 Day in Lisbon, Portugal - Vincci Liberdade Hotel

I stayed 3 nights in Vincci Liberdade when I was in Lisbon, Portugal. We decided via this location due to word of mouth, and also partly because the area is safe and it's accessibility. Vincci Liberdade is actually located near the high-end fashion boutiques and a short walk to the city area. This is definitely a good location for a short stay. However, the pathway is uneven. I would highly recommend to take a taxi over from the airport to/fro the hotel directly.

I am quite impressed by the room. It's very spacious. I had sufficient room to place my luggage and shopping bags. Like all other hotels, Vincci Liberdade has the usual amenities, including a coffee machine. The best part of the room is the king-size bed. I can have the bed all for myself. This is a luxury that I genuinely enjoy.

However, I am more impressed by the showering room; there are a toilet bowl and a male urinal bowl. This washroom is designed for the best of both worlds! No couple will need to quarrel about the placement of the cover. Obviously, the toilet is relatively spacious. Anyway, since we are on this topic, I would like to highlight to you that like most hotels in Europe, you would need to bring your own toiletries.

I also had 2 days of breakfast in the hotel as well. It cost around 10 euros per day for hotel guest. The breakfast choices were quite limited; there were the usual bread, fruits, ham, cheese, eggs and drinks. The options are sufficient to have a hearty breakfast. However, after seeing the breakfast prices of some of the restaurant, I was hoping that they would offer something more than the norm. The breakfast was good but not near great.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay in Vincci Liberdade. I would recommend you to stay here if you are visiting Lisbon.

You may want to take note that there's a "tourist tax" of 2 euros for every night that you stayed in the hotel. You would have to pay for this when you check out.

x, Esther
