Endowus Cash Smart Updated Review After 1.5 Years of Usage
Previously, I shared about the Endowus Cash Smart plans. I experimented with a one-year investment in Enhanced and Ultra portfolios from April 2021 to April 2022. I had shared my thoughts on the Enhanced and Ultra Plan previously. In May 2022, I mentioned that I would be withdrawing my funds despite the loss. However, I did not do so.

Why?
Initially, I planned to transfer the fund from the Enhanced and Ultra Portfolio to one of my investment portfolios, but the transfer was not permitted. It was because I had less than $100 in each portfolio.
You need a minimum of $100 to transfer between goals. I believe it is because Endowus’ minimum investment requirement is $100 per transaction. Therefore, I did not move the funds in May 2022.
I decided to leave the funds in the respective account. It is a hassle to redeem the fund and remember to invest after receiving it. I will wait for the funds to recover.
Enhanced and Ultra Plans Updated Review (Jan 2023)
Now that it’s 2023 let’s review the Enhanced and Ultra Plans again.
Here’s the value of the Enhanced Plan. I managed to recover the cost in early 2023. The investment value is $0 because I had transferred the fund to another pocket before I took the screenshot. On the transfer day, the investment value was $100.15.
Here’s the value of the Ultra Plan. I invested $100 in May 2021 and have yet to recover the cost. Nonetheless, the line of the graph is moving in a positive direction. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully, I will be able to recover soon so that I can transfer the fund.
I hope that by now, you have learned that both the Endowus’ Enhanced and Ultra portfolios are investment portfolios with minimal risks. However, there is no guaranteed return.
My take remains the same. I will continue to make my money work harder by investing in portfolios that may bring higher returns. At my current life stage, I can bear the risk.
Cash Smart portfolios are a great investment tool for investors with smaller risk appetites.
I hope this post has given you a better view of Endowus’ Enhanced and Ultra portfolios.
I wish you well.
x, Esther
