Here’s the latest news on the AI chatbots this week.

1. Microsoft, which invested in ChatGPT, shared that Bing will run on newer and more powerful software than ChatGPT. It will create a new breed of search engine where answers will be more direct and conversational.

2. Google has introduced Brad, an AI chatbot to compete with it. Brad is currently available to "trusted testers" and will be made available to the public in the coming weeks.

3. Baidu has also entered the AI race by unveiling its "ERNIE Bot" ( 文心一言), which is undergoing final tests before its planned public debut in March.
