What are the changes to Hootsuite Free Plan? How does it impact you?

Did you know that there are changes to the Hootsuite Free plan?
I previously wrote a review on Hootsuite. Their free plan is great to schedule LinkedIn posts. However, they had recently made the following changes:
You can now connect up to 2 social accounts.
You can schedule up to 5 posts in total.
It is a change from the previous 3 social accounts and 30 scheduled posts. For more information, you can refer to Hootsuite’s notices.
What does this mean?
If you have been using the free account all this while, you will feel the impact! It is because the number of scheduled post decrease drastically. It's decreased by more than 80%! If you are running a small business, you have to start exploring other alternatives to keep your business cost low. Or pay for their professional plan.
It is not a piece of great news but well... the free plan is still available. To keep your hopes up, you can always migrate to other social media management platforms. If you need one to manage Facebook and Instagram posts, do give Facebook Creator Studio a try. Best part? It's free!
How about LinkedIn?
The new Hootsuite free plan is sufficient if you are scheduling a post per week. What if you need to schedule more than 5 posts in a month? Here is some possible solution - Buffer. Currently, it's free. You can schedule up to 10 posts. I will give Buffer a try and leave a review about it. So, stay tuned!
